FrameMaker Advanced Features Training

The FrameMaker Advanced course starts up where the FrameMaker Basics training ends. You’ll learn about text flows and content reuse with Text Insets and Conditional Text. You’ll see how Variables and Cross-References can increase the accuracy of your work and speed up your document creation. You’ll learn the proper methods for formatting a template and how to apply those formats across a range of documents. Then you’ll add a group of documents to a FrameMaker book and generate a table of contents and an index.

The Essentials of FrameMaker and Other Basic Authoring Skills

Our first usage-based manual in the Foundations of FrameMaker series explains how to use FrameMaker to create documents from templates, how to format text using paragraph formats, character formats, and table formats defined in the template. Users then create a book and generate a table of contents and index.

The Essentials of FrameMaker contains process roadmaps and workflows that users need for everyday FrameMaker tasks.
